DreamCatchers Renovations Brings Updated Look

Sault Ste. Marie, MI – DreamCatchers restaurant located inside Kewadin Sault opened on Friday January 18 after a three week renovation project.  The restaurant opened to the public with a fresh look including newly upholstered booths, updated wall coverings and new carpeting.

“We had a quick turn around on this project thanks to everyone who was involved,” said Janice Frye, food & beverage director.  “There were so many people who helped including Jeff Behling and his crew at Northern Hospitality, Nick Louricas, Chris Homminga, John Laitinen and Dick Kurtz and all the maintenance staff, MIS and Melody Belanger for making sure the terminals and phone lines were all moved around, John Cleary and his wonderful crew of housekeepers, and finally the Food and Beverage staff from all areas, who jumped in to clean, paint, scrub, move, whatever it took to transition us over to Woodlands and then back to DreamCatchers in record time.”

Kewadin Casinos has four restaurants and three delis available to patrons.  The DreamCatchers Restaurant sees approximately 300,000 patrons each year and seats 260 in a 7,200 square foot area.  DreamCatchers has won numerous local awards including Best Service, Best Salad Bar, Best Dinner Buffet, Best Fresh Seafood, and Best Seafood Buffet.

Also in Kewadin Sault is the Trail Deli which seats 20.  The Horseshoe Bay Restaurant located in Kewadin St. Ignace seats 225 and is also the recipient of multiple local awards.  Also in St. Ignace is the Campfire Deli which has seating for 40.  Kewadin Manistique’s Mariner’s Cove Restaurant seats 60, The Frosty’s Bar & Grille in Kewadin Christmas seats 45, and the Northern Nooke Deli in Kewadin Hessel seats 12.
